What is virtual training?
Virtual training is real-time, live training conducted remotely by Megamind’s instructors. The classes are live, held online.
Most sessions are 2-day classes with 6 hours each day. All sessions start at 7:00am Pacific Time (unless otherwise noted).
Can I record the class sessions?
No, you may not.
The class sessions are content copyrighted by Megamind Institute and recordings, and/or reuse of the class sessions cannot be made without prior consent from Megamind. However; the recorded sessions are available online for a limited time, accessible with an assigned password provided to you by Megamind.
If I need to cancel my virtual training, what are my options?
Cancellations will be accepted up to 10 working days before the scheduled course. After that time, no refunds can be given but tuition can be applied to a future training session.
What if I cannot connect to the class sessions?
If there’s an outage on Megamind’s side of the connection, we’ll offer a make-up class session. Megamind will not be held responsible for missed classes based on factors outside of Megamind’s control, including (but not limited to): weather, down power lines, difficulties experienced by WebEx. You are responsible for ensuring that your Internet connection is functional and complying with the minimum software, bandwidth requirements, and scheduling. Support is available by contacting info@megamind.org or by calling 1-831-662-9164 during regular business hours (Pacific Time).
What are the system requirements?
Attendees will need a sustainable bandwidth of 100 Kb/s. High latency connections, such as satellite, are not supported. The class streamed content can be completed using web-based java applets, so having a browser capable of using java applets is required.

I did not receive or have lost my link to the virtual training log-in page. How can I have it sent again?
Send an email to: info@megamind.org.
How do I register for a virtual training session?
Enrollment in virtual training works identical to enrollment in instructor-led training. There is an Enrollee Sign-up link on the affiliated course description page, or simply call Megamind @ 1-831-662-9164 to register.
What forms of payment do you take?
Megamind accepts all major credit cards via PayPal (available directly from the Megamind site registration), Corporate Purchase Orders and checks are also accepted. Checks should be mailed at least 30 days prior to the first day of the class.
Is virtual training eligible for volume discounts?
Yes. Please send an email to info@megamind.org to learn more.
What will I see on my screen?
You’ll see live-stream web delivery of the instructor’s screen as he or she speaks, provides examples, and answers questions. The class is designed to parallel its classroom equivalent to the greatest extent possible, and you’ll also see everything the instructor types clearly without impediment.
Can I ask questions during class?
Yes, as follows.
There’s a chat function that lets you post questions to the instructor at the end of each session. There will also be time at the end of each day when the instructor will address questions.
Additional questions not addressed in this query should be sent to info@megamind.org.
