WHO CAN BENEFIT/QUALIFICATIONS:

The AAIA™ has been developed by ISACA® for experienced IT auditors and advisors tasked with gaining AI auditing expertise.

To qualify for the AAIA™, candidates must possess 5 years of experience in IT audit or related fields, with ISACA recommending holding a CISA® or one of the following designations with an IT audit or IT advisory role focus: CIA, US CPA, ACCA or FCCA, Canadian CPA, Australian CPA or FCPA or the Japanese CPA designation.

ABOUT AAIA™ EXAM:

The Advanced in AI Audit™ (AAIA™) Exam consists of 90 multi-choice questions covering 3 job practice domains, testing your auditing knowledge/ ability on real-life job practices leveraged by expert professionals. The vendor-neutral exam consists of multi-choice, scenario-based, and practical application questions administered via in-person PSI testing centers or remote proctoring. Exam candidates have 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to complete.

The ISACA® AAIA™ Official Review Manual is a comprehensive reference guide designed to help individuals prepare for the AAIA™ exam. This edition is organized to supplement understanding of the essential concepts in-line with the exam and covering the following domain areas:

AI Governance and Risk: including risk management, program management, data governance and leading practices, ethics, regulations, and standards for AI.
AI Operations: including data management, solution development, threats and vulnerabilities and change management specific to AI.
AI Auditing Tools and Techniques: including audit planning and design, testing and sampling, evidence collection, audit reporting and data analytics.

While the critical concepts are explored during the training, the primary focus is on developing the skills and understanding the essentials to mastering this unique examination, there is insufficient time to study in-depth the manual content during the 2-day class.
